A little about me...

My name is Joe Torrence, and I am an ordained Deacon in the United Methodist Church. I have been doing youth ministry for the last 20 years and now work at St Christopher's Boy's School as the Lower School Chaplain(K-5).  I enjoy most things outside and playing golf. I love being with my family and sharing the "good news" with students. My favorite movie is Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail and music Cold Play,  Steel Wheels, The Wood Brothers. I enjoy reading, and my current faves include Love Wins, Velvet Elvis, UnChristian, and Jesus For President.  I have an incredible wife and three great kids. We currently live in Richmond VA.

The most important thing about me is that I love Jesus and I believe that God is making all things new.  That is a message worth sharing.  In Christ, we find hope, joy, love, and purpose for this crazy thing we call life. I would love to come and share that message with your students.
